The Algorithms for Computing and Education (ACE) Lab brings together an interdisciplinary group of talented individuals interested in research at the intersection of education and computing. Our projects involve novel educational software that help educators educate better and students learn better, spanning traditional, online, and hybrid learning. We hail from EECS to iSchool to Education as we collaboratively pursue a better world.
Most of the lab’s students and meetings are in the BiD Lab space, which is rooms 354–360 Hearst Memorial Mining Building.
CS Faculty: Armando Fox, Björn Hartmann, Marti Hearst (iSchool/CS), Josh Hug, and John DeNero.
Postdoctoral Researchers: Elena Glassman (CS/Björn Hartmann), Gustavo Soares (CS/Björn Hartmann), Eliane Wiese (Education/Prof. Marcia Linn in School of Education & Armando Fox).
